Insights from the ADC Symposium 2026
The ADC Symposium 2026, held in Prague on 16–17 September and organised by TKS event organiser, publisher of Chemistry Today, brought together experts from across the antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) field.
During the on-site event, the Chemistry Today team interviewed selected speakers and industry experts to explore some of the key challenges, developments and opportunities shaping ADC development and manufacturing.
Kevin Nagy
Kevin Nagy shares his perspective on the challenges of developing and manufacturing complex linker-payload molecules, highlighting the difficulties associated with molecular characterisation, analytical development, purification and process chemistry.
He also discusses the importance of early collaboration between process chemistry, analytical development and manufacturing teams to minimise delays and facilitate the transition from development to cGMP manufacturing. The conversation explores the need for well-defined processes, a clear understanding of critical quality attributes and alignment with regulatory requirements to support successful manufacturing.
