Insights from the ADC Symposium 2026
The ADC Symposium 2026, held in Prague on 16–17 September and organised by TKS event organiser, publisher of Chemistry Today, brought together experts from across the antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) field.
During the on-site event, the Chemistry Today team interviewed selected speakers, and industry experts to explore some of the key challenges, developments and opportunities shaping ADC development and manufacturing.
Kishore Hotha
Kishore Hotha shares his perspective on the importance of phase-appropriate analytical strategies in ADC development, highlighting the need to define critical quality attributes early based on the complexity of the molecule, including the antibody, linker-payload and conjugation strategy.
He also discusses the importance of bridging the gap between preclinical development and later-stage manufacturing, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and a robust analytical approach to support progression towards commercialization. His advice for emerging ADC companies is to remain flexible in the early stages while refining specifications and finalising critical attributes as development advances.
